INTRODUCING
Awareness Kindergarten
Children are naturally connected with their dreaming bodies...
For my teachers, heirs to Toltec seers of ancient Mexico, creativity and dreams are accessed via connecting our self with our soul, known as the dreaming body. This is the essence of the Toltec legend of Quetzalcoatl, the plumed serpent, who navigates with grace between the world of dreams and imagination, and the world of daily life.
In this series, we are going to make conscious use of creative expression and play to help us each move past old patterns, stories, or blocks, to align with our dreaming body, and our dreams, here and now on planet Earth.Â
We are going to each write, draw, dance, sing, play, as we choose—to help us practice:
• Recapitulation/ The Seers' Life Review, that helps illuminate and release where we are stuck,Â
• Silence, which helps us identify and release our inner noise, and opens the door toÂ
• Not-Doing: allowing something greater than ourselves to enter our field, and
• Dreaming: Seeing and Living New Possibilities.Â
Tools to help us along the way:
Magical Passes: Breath, Movement, & Dance
Lab Meetings to work with and alongside others.
Theater Play
Imperfectionism - yes!
The spirit of kindness, & curiosity
This Series Is For You If you are inspired by:
- Identifying: What’s alive in you? What do you want to dream in your life?
- Deciding to do it!
- Recapitulating: Creating poetry, song, drawing, painting, dance, etc. to help you see what's holding you back—and what propels you forward.
- Silence: Getting inner noise out of you and onto paper, canvas, recording device, as you choose—to help you then practice those same arts, guided by your Inner Seer.
- Not-Doing: Allowing yourself to play outside your "norm."
- Dreaming Forward: Creating an image, story, song, poem, crystal grid, etc. to call your cherished dreams to you.Â
- Sharing Your Work & Journey with Others in a Solstice CelebrationÂ
